PanicPlan

PanicPlan is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps people ride out panic attacks and acute anxiety spikes using pre-built, clinician-reviewed “if-then” action scripts. Users set up a Panic Plan when calm: triggers, early warning signs, preferred grounding methods, safe contacts, medication notes, and environment-specific steps (home, work, commuting). During an episode, the app switches to an ultra-simple mode with large buttons, minimal text, and timed prompts (breathing, sensory grounding, cognitive defusion, and “next best step” checklists). It can optionally detect elevated heart rate via Apple Health/Google Fit and suggest launching the plan, but it won’t pretend to diagnose. A lightweight AI layer can personalize wording and reorder steps based on what historically helped, while keeping everything user-approved. The goal is not therapy replacement; it’s a reliable emergency playbook for anxious moments.
