PantryPilot is a mobile + web AI recipe app that turns your real pantry into reliable meal plans. Instead of dumping generic “what can I cook?” suggestions, it builds recipes around your actual inventory, expiration dates, and time constraints. You scan receipts or barcodes, optionally snap a fridge photo, and the app maintains a live pantry with quantities and “use soon” alerts. When you choose a recipe, it automatically adjusts servings, swaps ingredients you don’t have, and generates a minimal shopping list for only the missing items. It also supports “budget mode” (cost-per-serving targets) and “waste mode” (prioritize expiring items). The app is realistic: it won’t pretend it can perfectly recognize every ingredient from photos, and it lets users confirm uncertain items quickly. Monetization is a subscription for planning features plus optional affiliate grocery links.
