PantryProof is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that keeps a lightweight, always-updated view of what’s in your pantry, fridge, and freezer so your online grocery cart matches reality. Users add items by scanning receipts, importing online grocery orders, or quick barcode scans; the app estimates remaining quantities based on typical consumption and prompts simple “confirm” taps instead of constant manual edits. When you start an online grocery order, PantryProof generates a “need list” (what you’re actually low on), flags likely duplicates, and suggests substitutions based on what you already have. It also surfaces “use-first” recipes to reduce waste. The goal isn’t perfect inventory accuracy—it’s reducing the most common, expensive mistakes: duplicate buys, forgotten staples, and food expiring unused.
