PantryPulse

PantryPulse is a mobile app (iOS/Android) with optional web dashboard that helps households reduce food waste by tracking what’s actually in the fridge and pantry and turning it into realistic meal plans. You add items by scanning receipts, barcode scanning, or quick voice entry; the app estimates expiration windows and nudges you to use high-risk items first. It generates “use-this-next” recipes based on your inventory, dietary preferences, and time available, and auto-builds a minimal grocery list to fill gaps. The honest value is not “perfect inventory”—that’s too much work for most people—but a lightweight system that catches the top 20% of waste (produce, dairy, leftovers) and converts it into simple meals. Monetization is subscription plus optional affiliate grocery links; it must prove savings fast or users will churn.
