PantryPulse
PantryPulse is a mobile app (with optional web companion) that turns your real pantry into realistic weeknight meals. You log staples once, then quickly add items via barcode scan or receipt import. The app suggests recipes you can actually make, prioritizing minimal extra purchases, short cook times, and your dietary constraints. It generates a tight shopping list only for missing ingredients, grouped by store aisle, and learns what you refuse to cook (too many steps, too spicy, too much cleanup). It also tracks “use soon” items to reduce waste and nudges you with 2–3 high-probability dinner options at 4–6pm. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps map messy ingredient names to a normalized pantry and adapts recipes to your constraints, but the core value is accurate inventory and frictionless planning. If inventory is wrong, the app is useless—so the UX is built around fast corrections.
