PaperTrail is a mobile + web AI-assisted incident journal for people stuck in toxic workplaces who need clean, defensible documentation without turning their phone into a liability. It lets you log events in under 60 seconds, attach emails/screenshots, and auto-generate a neutral, fact-based summary that avoids emotional language and sticks to observable details. Entries are time-stamped, hashed, and stored with tamper-evident audit trails so you can credibly show patterns over time. The app includes a “risk check” that warns you when your notes could expose you (company device, monitored accounts, identifiable metadata) and guides you to safer capture methods. When you’re ready, PaperTrail exports a structured packet for HR, an employment lawyer, or your own records: timeline, key incidents, witnesses, and supporting files. It won’t fix your workplace; it helps you protect yourself and exit strategically.
