ParaMatch

ParaMatch is a mobile + web app that helps people with disabilities find adaptive sports opportunities that match their functional needs, equipment access, transportation reality, and skill level. Instead of generic “adaptive sports near me,” it uses a structured intake (mobility, vision/hearing, transfer ability, fatigue limits, caregiver needs) and maps it to verified programs, leagues, clinics, and one-off events. Organizers get a lightweight portal to post sessions, list accessibility details (parking, bathrooms, surfaces, ramps), equipment availability (loaner chairs, sleds), and required classifications. The app reduces the constant back-and-forth DMs and awkward phone calls by showing “fit confidence,” what you’ll need on day one, and who to contact. It’s not a social network; it’s a practical directory + matching workflow with reminders, waivers, and simple attendance tracking for programs.
