ParkPulse

ParkPulse is a mobile app that shows real-time parking availability by blending public curb rules, garage inventory, and on-the-ground signals from users. Instead of vague “likely open” maps, it focuses on high-confidence blocks and garages, then routes you to the best option based on your vehicle size, time limits, and price sensitivity. Drivers can confirm a spot with a one-tap “I parked here” check-in, earning small rewards or credits, while the app uses lightweight anomaly detection to filter spam and stale reports. The MVP should start with a few dense neighborhoods in one city where parking pain is extreme and data is accessible. This is not a magic bullet—coverage is the hardest part—so the product is designed to be useful even with partial data by prioritizing garages and high-signal curb areas first.
