ParkPulse

ParkPulse is a mobile app that shows the likelihood of finding a parking spot on specific blocks near your destination, using proximity-based signals and lightweight prediction. Users set a destination and preferred walking distance, and the app highlights nearby streets/garages with a simple “high/medium/low” availability score and suggested approach routes. It blends public data (meter rules, garage occupancy where available) with anonymized, opt-in user telemetry (drive-bys, stop events) to infer turnover patterns by time of day. It also warns about street-cleaning windows, permit zones, and typical enforcement times so users don’t get ticketed. This is not a magic “spot reservation” app; it’s a decision tool that reduces circling and stress. Monetization is via a freemium model plus affiliate/referral fees from participating garages.
