ParkPulse

ParkPulse is a mobile + web app that shows real-time “how usable is this park right now?” signals: crowding, noise, lighting, restroom status, broken equipment, and incident reports. It blends official city data (311, maintenance schedules, closures) with lightweight, privacy-safe device signals (opt-in anonymous foot-traffic density) and verified community check-ins. Users can quickly decide where to go for a quiet walk, a pickup game, or a kid-friendly playground without wasting time. Cities and park conservancies get a dashboard to triage maintenance, spot recurring issues, and publish trustworthy updates instead of letting Google reviews become the de facto status board. The MVP focuses on a single metro area and a handful of high-traffic parks, because nationwide coverage is unrealistic without partnerships. Monetization is B2B subscriptions for agencies/conservancies plus optional sponsored “events” listings.
