ParkPulse is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that predicts real parking availability and price near your destination, then guides you to the best option based on walking distance, safety, and likelihood of finding a spot. It combines public data (meters, garages, events, street sweeping) with user-reported signals and passive telemetry (opt-in) to estimate turnover by block and time of day. The app is an AI + traditional hybrid: AI generates availability forecasts and flags anomalies (construction, closures), while the core experience is a simple map with confidence scores. Monetization is realistic: affiliate revenue from garage bookings where available, plus a small subscription for commuters who park frequently. The hard truth: accuracy will be mediocre at first in many cities, so the MVP must focus on a few dense neighborhoods where data and demand are strong.
