ParkQuestAR is a mobile app that turns playgrounds and parks into short, parent-controlled scavenger hunts using AR prompts and simple physical challenges (jump, balance, spot colors/shapes, teamwork tasks). Parents pick a location, set a 15–30 minute “quest,” and choose age bands so tasks stay realistic for 4–10 year-olds. The app avoids open-ended social features; instead it focuses on offline play with on-device progress tracking, optional photo “stamps,” and a lightweight rewards system that doesn’t require constant screen time. It includes a safety mode with geofenced boundaries, a “heads-up” audio cue system to reduce staring at the screen, and printable backup cards for low-signal parks. Monetization is straightforward: a free starter pack plus a subscription for themed quest packs and seasonal content drops.
