ParrotPulse is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) for parrot and parakeet owners to track daily health signals and catch problems early—before an emergency vet visit. Users log weight, appetite, droppings (with photo), activity, sleep, and notable behaviors (fluffed feathers, tail bobbing, voice changes). The app turns this into simple trend charts and “red flag” alerts based on avian-vet-informed rules plus an AI photo classifier that flags suspicious droppings patterns (not a diagnosis). It also stores meds, egg-laying history, molt cycles, and environmental factors like humidity and diet changes. The reality: most owners miss subtle decline until it’s serious, and avian vets are expensive and not always nearby. ParrotPulse focuses on practical monitoring, better vet handoff (exportable report), and reducing panic by showing what’s normal for your bird over time.
