PartPicker helps shoppers and DIY repairers find compatible replacement parts for electronics they already own—without guessing model numbers or getting scammed by lookalike listings. You scan a device label (or upload a photo), and the app builds a “parts profile” with likely compatible batteries, chargers, screens, remotes, filters, and cables. It then searches across major marketplaces and authorized distributors, flags risky listings (wrong specs, counterfeit patterns, mismatched connector types), and shows a short list of safe buys with delivery time and total cost. It’s brutally practical: the goal isn’t to be a universal shopping app, it’s to prevent wasted purchases and downtime. Monetization is affiliate revenue plus a small subscription for advanced checks (serial-range compatibility, teardown guides, and bulk part lists for repair shops).
