PartsPulse

PartsPulse is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) for independent watchmakers and service centers who waste hours sourcing parts and verifying compatibility. The app builds a structured parts request from a watch’s brand/model/reference, movement caliber, and photos, then matches it against a vetted supplier directory and shop-to-shop inventory listings. An AI vision module reads movement engravings and compares component geometry to reduce wrong orders, while a rules engine flags common incompatibilities (e.g., variant bridges, date-wheel versions). Shops can post surplus parts, set minimum order values, and manage lead times. For buyers, it tracks quotes, shipping, and returns with a “fit confidence” score and a paper trail for customer transparency. Realistically, the hardest part is supplier onboarding and data quality—not the software—so the product focuses on tight workflows and incentives for repeat transactions.
