PartyPortion is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that turns a guest list into a realistic shopping list and prep plan for at-home entertaining. You enter headcount, start time, menu style (snacks, dinner, potluck), dietary needs, and alcohol preferences. The app outputs portion estimates (food + drinks), a categorized grocery list by store aisle, and a timed prep schedule. The AI layer adapts quantities using context (kids vs adults, sports watch party vs dinner party, “heavy drinkers” slider) and learns from your post-party leftovers photo + quick feedback (“too much chips, ran out of ice”). It also supports potlucks by assigning dishes to guests and preventing duplicates. This is not a recipe app; it’s a logistics app focused on reducing waste, saving money, and lowering host stress.
