PastaPilot is a mobile app that helps home cooks consistently nail pasta and grain cooking results (al dente, chewy, fluffy) without guesswork. Users pick the ingredient (spaghetti, penne, rice, quinoa, couscous, lentils), brand/type, and cooking method (boil, absorption, rice cooker, Instant Pot). The app then runs a smart timer with prompts (salt level, stir points, taste-test windows, drain/steam rest) and adjusts based on altitude, pot size, and water ratio. It also supports “finish in sauce” workflows with carryover timing, so pasta doesn’t overcook while you plate. This is not a recipe app; it’s a repeatable execution tool. Monetization is a low-cost subscription for advanced modes (pressure cooker profiles, batch cooking, custom presets) plus a one-time “pro” unlock option.
