It runs locally and watches clipboard events and paste targets, then blocks or warns when it detects high-risk content like API keys, private keys, customer PII, source code snippets, or regulated identifiers. Admins can roll out policies by team (engineering, support, sales) and tune detection with allowlists (approved domains/apps) and redaction rules. The MVP should prioritize pragmatic coverage over perfect classification: strong regex/entropy detection, lightweight context (app/window/domain), and clear user prompts that reduce bypass behavior.
