PatchCanary
PatchCanary is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop/agent) that reduces technology-failure risk by validating OS, middleware, and application patches in a controlled “canary” workflow before broad rollout. It connects to your existing patch tools and CI/CD, pulls change context (what changed, where, and dependencies), then runs a small set of high-signal health checks: service start/stop, key API probes, synthetic transactions, and log/error-rate deltas. It enforces staged deployment gates (lab → canary ring → partial prod → full prod) and automatically halts or rolls back when thresholds are breached. The product is intentionally narrow: it doesn’t replace your patching platform; it adds guardrails and evidence. It generates audit-ready reports showing what was tested, what failed, who approved, and the exact blast radius avoided—useful for operational risk teams and regulators.
