PatchForge

PatchForge is a desktop + web app for creating “patch-style” mods for games and UGC platforms that constantly update. Instead of distributing full modified files, creators define changes as diffs (replace, inject, merge, rebalance) with validation rules and version targets. The app runs automated compatibility checks against new game builds, flags conflicts, and generates a clean changelog and rollback plan. A lightweight launcher can apply and revert patches locally, while the web dashboard hosts mod pages, dependency graphs, and crash/telemetry reports (opt-in). This is not a magic mod-maker; it’s a reliability tool that reduces breakage and support burden. Monetization is creator subscriptions for CI-style compatibility testing, private distribution, and team collaboration; free tier supports basic patching and public hosting.
