PatchPilot

PatchPilot is a web app (with an optional lightweight desktop agent) that helps IT teams patch virtualized environments without guessing what will break. It ingests inventory and dependency signals from VMware vCenter and/or Proxmox, plus OS patch status from common sources, then builds a “blast radius” view: which VMs talk to which services, what maintenance windows exist, and what rollback options are available. The app generates a patch runbook per cluster: ordered steps, pre-checks, snapshot/backup verification, and post-checks. It also tracks patch outcomes over time to improve future recommendations and highlight chronic offenders (VMs that repeatedly fail reboots, services with fragile dependencies). This is not magic auto-remediation; it’s a practical planning and verification tool that reduces outages caused by rushed patching and incomplete visibility.
