PatchPilot
PatchPilot is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) for MSP/MSSPs to manage and prove patch compliance across messy, mixed customer environments. It ingests patch and vulnerability signals from existing tools (RMMs, endpoint security, scanners) and turns them into one defensible, time-stamped compliance narrative per client: what was missing, what was approved, what was blocked, and why. The core value is audit-ready evidence and exception handling, not “yet another patch tool.” It automates client communications (approval requests, maintenance windows, risk acceptances) and keeps a chain-of-custody log so you can survive cyber insurance questionnaires and SOC2/ISO audits without spreadsheet chaos. AI is used only for summarizing evidence, generating client-facing risk language, and mapping findings to common controls—never as the source of truth. This is realistic because most MSPs already have tools; they lack proof and process.
