PatchPilot
PatchPilot is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that tracks and verifies firmware/BIOS/BMC/NIC/HBA patching across data center fleets. Instead of trusting spreadsheets and vendor portals, it continuously inventories hardware identities, current firmware versions, and maintenance windows, then generates an auditable “patch evidence pack” per change: before/after version attestations, device serials, timestamps, operator identity, and rollback notes. It integrates with ServiceNow/Jira for change tickets and with common out-of-band management (Redfish/IPMI) where possible. The reality: many environments can’t fully automate patching due to vendor quirks, so PatchPilot focuses on verification and proof, not magical one-click updates. It flags drift, missing evidence, and high-risk firmware combos (e.g., known bad BMC releases) and produces compliance-ready reports for SOC2/ISO/PCI audits.
