PatchPilot

PatchPilot is a web app plus lightweight on-prem agent that inventories smart devices (cameras, thermostats, locks, speakers, hubs) on a home or small-business network and tracks firmware/app versions, known CVEs, and vendor end-of-support dates. It gives a clear “update risk vs. security risk” score and a safe rollout plan: which devices to update first, which to isolate, and which to replace. It also monitors for new devices joining the network and flags suspicious behavior (unexpected outbound domains, sudden traffic spikes). This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional discovery/compliance plus AI-assisted risk summaries and plain-English remediation steps. It’s brutally practical: it won’t magically update every device (vendors block that), but it will stop you from running blind and help you reduce real exposure with segmentation guidance and repeatable checklists.
