PatchPilot

PatchPilot is a web app with a lightweight endpoint agent that finds, prioritizes, and verifies OS and third‑party patching across small-to-mid environments that are too messy for spreadsheets but not big enough for heavy enterprise tooling. It pulls inventory, flags risky missing patches, and creates a weekly “do this now” plan based on exploit activity and device criticality. It also validates success (not just “installed”) by checking version, reboot state, and vulnerable DLL/app remnants. The honest angle: you will not beat Microsoft Intune/SCCM/Jamf on breadth, and you won’t win large enterprises. You can win by being simpler, faster to deploy, and brutally clear about what’s actually vulnerable. Monetize per endpoint with a minimum monthly fee, and focus on MSPs and IT generalists who need reliable patch reporting without a full RMM suite.
