PatchPilot
PatchPilot is a web app (with optional Discord bot) that turns messy Git commits, issue tickets, and build metadata into clean, player-friendly patch notes. You connect Steamworks, itch.io, GitHub/GitLab, and your Discord server; PatchPilot drafts patch notes in your game’s voice, highlights player-impacting changes, and auto-generates a short version for Steam announcements plus a long version for your website. It also keeps a public changelog page and lets you tag changes by feature, platform, and severity. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI drafts and summarizes, but you approve everything before publishing. The goal is to reduce the “I should post updates but I’m exhausted” problem that kills community momentum for small teams. It’s not a magic marketing tool—just a reliable workflow that makes shipping and communicating updates less painful.
