PatchPilot
PatchPilot is a mobile app (with an optional lightweight web dashboard) that tells you which apps on your phone are quietly becoming security liabilities. It scans your installed apps, checks last update dates, permission creep, and known vulnerability signals from public sources, then assigns a simple risk score with clear next steps: update, replace, restrict permissions, or uninstall. For non-technical users, it translates security jargon into plain language and shows “what could happen” scenarios (account takeover, data leakage, stalking risk). For power users and small teams, it can export a weekly report and enforce basic hygiene reminders. This is an AI-assisted app: AI summarizes risk and drafts action recommendations, but the core signals are deterministic and auditable. The goal isn’t to be a full antivirus; it’s to make app maintenance and permission hygiene obvious and fast.
