PatchPulse
PatchPulse is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) for monitoring and controlling patch compliance across mixed fleets: Windows, macOS, Linux, and common third‑party apps. It focuses on one painful gap: most teams can’t quickly prove what’s patched, what failed, and why—especially across remote laptops and servers. PatchPulse pulls device inventory, OS/app versions, and update status into a single compliance view, then triggers controlled remediation: schedule updates, force critical patches, or quarantine noncompliant endpoints via integrations. It generates audit-ready evidence (timelines, failure reasons, change logs) and alerts only when risk is real (e.g., exploited CVEs + exposed devices). It’s a traditional app with selective AI: AI summarizes failure clusters, suggests likely root causes (WSUS misconfig, disk space, reboot pending), and drafts remediation runbooks, but doesn’t “auto-fix” without explicit approval.
