PathPulse
PathPulse is a web app with lightweight desktop/edge agents that continuously tests real network paths between your critical sites, clouds, and SaaS endpoints. Instead of only checking “is it up,” it measures route changes, jitter bursts, packet loss patterns, and DNS/TLS handshake failures, then correlates them to specific ISPs, BGP hops, or regions. It generates incident timelines that show exactly when a path degraded, what changed, and which users were likely impacted. An AI-assisted layer summarizes probable root cause (e.g., upstream congestion vs. DNS misconfig) and drafts a clear status update for internal stakeholders. Realistically, it won’t replace full observability suites, but it can be a focused, cheaper reliability layer for teams that are blind between “our network” and “the internet.”
