PathPulse

PathPulse is a mobile + web app for small venues to understand how people actually move through a space. Using a phone as a temporary sensor (mounted at entry points) plus optional low-cost BLE beacons, it estimates traffic counts, dwell time, and common routes without needing expensive camera systems. The app outputs simple heatmaps, peak-time charts, and “bottleneck alerts” tied to specific doorways or aisles. It’s designed for owners who can’t justify enterprise analytics but still lose money to bad layouts, long lines, and underused areas. Setup is intentionally scrappy: pick a floor plan, place 1–3 phone sensors, run for a day, and get actionable recommendations like “move the promo table 2m left” or “open a second checkout from 5–7pm.” It’s not perfect accuracy; it’s cheap, fast directional insight.
