PathPulse
PathPulse is a web + mobile app for auditing wayfinding and signage using real visitor movement data instead of subjective walkthrough notes. Teams place a few temporary QR/NFC check-in points (or use existing Wi‑Fi/BLE infrastructure where available) to capture anonymous path choices, dwell time, backtracking, and missed turns. The app turns this into a “confusion map” by floor/zone and highlights the top 10 decision points causing delays. It also supports quick on-site photo capture of signs, linking each sign to a location and the observed behavior around it. The output is a prioritized fix list (move/resize/rename/add sign) with before/after comparisons once changes are made. This is not a magic design tool; it’s a measurement tool that helps facilities prove which changes actually reduce friction and staffing burden. Best fit: hospitals, campuses, airports, malls, and large offices.
