PatientFuse

PatientFuse is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that sits in front of your Master Patient Index workflows and focuses on one unglamorous but expensive problem: preventing and cleaning up duplicate/overlaid patient records across EHR, lab, radiology, and billing feeds. It ingests ADT/HL7 and FHIR Patient resources, runs deterministic rules plus AI-assisted similarity scoring, and routes only the highest-risk candidates to human review. The app provides a work queue, side-by-side record comparison, audit trails, and configurable match thresholds by facility or data source. It also tracks downstream impact (claim denials, lab misroutes, safety events) to justify ROI. This is not a “replace your MPI” pitch; it’s a pragmatic bolt-on that improves match quality and reduces manual reconciliation time without forcing a rip-and-replace of incumbent systems.
