PatinaProof is a mobile + web app that standardizes antique condition reporting for dealers, auctioneers, and serious collectors. Users capture a guided photo set (macro chips, joins, underside, maker’s marks) and the app generates a structured condition report with a consistent grading rubric, measurements, and disclosure checklist tailored by object type (furniture, ceramics, silver, rugs). It also produces a shareable “buyer packet” link with time-stamped images, notes, and optional third-party add-ons (shipping quote request, independent appraisal request). The goal is not to “authenticate” antiques with magic AI—because that’s unreliable—but to reduce disputes, returns, and reputation damage by making documentation thorough, comparable, and hard to game. Reports can be attached to listings, invoices, or auction lots, and stored as a long-term item record for insurance and resale.
