PatternProof

PatternProof is a mobile + web app for sewists and makers who waste time and money on patterns that don’t fit as expected. You enter body measurements (or import from a simple guided scan), select a commercial PDF pattern size range, and input key pattern measurements (bust, waist, hip, ease notes). The app flags likely fit issues, suggests which size to start from, and generates a short alteration plan (lengthen/shorten lines, grading between sizes, full bust adjustment indicators) with printable checklists. It also tracks your “fit history” per brand/pattern company so you stop repeating the same mistakes. This is not magic: it won’t replace muslins, but it will reduce failed first attempts and help you choose the right starting size and modifications. Monetization: freemium with paid fit reports, brand libraries, and project tracking.
