PawBatch

PawBatch is a mobile + web app that helps pet owners track pet food, treats, and supplements by batch/lot number and get fast, reliable recall and safety alerts. Instead of relying on scattered news articles, users scan a barcode/QR, snap a photo of the lot code, and store it in a “Pet Pantry” timeline with purchase date, retailer, and pet profile. When a recall or safety notice hits, PawBatch matches it against the user’s stored lot codes and sends a clear action card: stop-use guidance, refund instructions by retailer, and what symptoms to watch for. It also supports multi-pet households and fosters, so you can see exactly which pet consumed what. This is an AI + traditional app: AI reads messy lot codes from photos and normalizes product names, but the recall data is sourced from official feeds and verified partners.
