PawPrintIQ
PawPrintIQ is a mobile + web AI app that identifies individual dogs and cats using photos of nose prints and paw pads—biometrics that are harder to fake than collars and often present even when microchips aren’t. Shelters, rescues, and clinics can snap a few guided photos, get a confidence-ranked match against their private database, and attach the ID to an intake record. The app focuses on real-world constraints: dirty paws, motion blur, poor lighting, and stressed animals. It includes a “capture coach” that tells staff when the image is usable, plus a human-in-the-loop review queue for low-confidence cases. This won’t magically find every lost pet nationwide; it’s most effective within an organization or regional coalition that shares a database. Pricing is per location with optional cross-org matching.
