PayAuditTrail

PayAuditTrail is a web app (with optional desktop agent) for global payroll risk management that creates an evidence-ready audit trail across countries, vendors, and HRIS/payroll systems. It continuously checks payroll runs for common compliance failure modes: missing approvals, late filings, out-of-policy allowances, misclassified contractors, incorrect tax IDs, and suspicious net-pay deltas. The product focuses on “defensibility”: every exception is tied to the source record, the policy rule, the approver, and a timestamped remediation log. It also provides a country-by-country control checklist and generates auditor-friendly evidence packs (SOC-style control mapping, screenshots/exports, and change logs). This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules and workflows for reliability, plus AI to summarize exceptions, draft remediation notes, and help map controls to local requirements. Realistically, it won’t replace legal advice; it reduces chaos and missed steps.
