PayCheckr
PayCheckr is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams alerts) that audits payroll runs for small and mid-sized employers before you submit them. It connects read-only to your payroll provider (starting with Gusto/ADP/Paychex via exports/API where available) and flags high-risk issues: misclassified contractors, missing state/local tax registrations, overtime rule mismatches, sick-leave accrual violations, late filings, and new-hire reporting gaps. It generates a plain-English “fix list” with links to the exact setting or form, plus an audit trail you can hand to your accountant or HR consultant. This is a combination traditional + AI app: rules engines handle deterministic compliance checks, while AI summarizes risks, drafts notices, and explains what changed when laws update. It’s not a replacement for payroll; it’s a pre-flight compliance layer that reduces expensive, embarrassing surprises.
