PayerProof

PayerProof is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps telehealth clinics reduce denied claims and patient billing surprises by verifying insurance eligibility and telehealth-specific benefits before an appointment happens. It connects to eligibility/benefits data sources, checks plan rules (telehealth coverage, copay/coinsurance, deductible status, network status), and flags mismatches like out-of-network providers, location restrictions, or plan exclusions. Staff get a simple “green/yellow/red” readiness score with the exact reason and suggested next steps (collect payment, switch provider, obtain authorization, or reschedule). Patients receive a plain-language cost estimate and a consent-to-pay flow. The product is intentionally narrow: eligibility + telehealth benefit validation + documentation trail. It won’t magically fix payer chaos, but it can cut avoidable denials, reduce support tickets, and improve cash flow for small-to-mid telehealth operators.
