PayFailover

PayFailover is a web app (with optional lightweight mobile dashboard) that sits between merchants and multiple payment gateways to reduce failed checkouts. It monitors real-time authorization rates, latency, and error codes per gateway, BIN range, country, currency, and payment method. When a gateway is down, slow, or suddenly declining more transactions, it automatically retries via the best-performing route using configurable rules and smart fallback logic. It also provides a single reconciliation view, incident alerts, and post-mortem reporting so finance and ops teams can quantify recovered revenue. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional routing and integrations, plus AI for anomaly detection, decline-reason clustering, and adaptive routing suggestions. Reality check: integrations, compliance, and edge cases are brutal; the MVP must start with 2–3 gateways and a narrow merchant segment to be shippable.
