PayFriction

PayFriction is a web app (with optional mobile-friendly dashboard) that pinpoints why customers abandon checkout across devices, regions, and payment methods. Instead of generic funnel analytics, it captures payment-step failures and latency signals: 3DS challenges, issuer declines, wallet handoff issues, address/ZIP mismatches, and form-field friction. It connects to Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, Shopify, and WooCommerce to ingest events and map them into a single “Checkout Health” view. The app flags anomalies (e.g., a sudden spike in soft declines on Visa in the UK) and suggests concrete fixes like routing changes, retry logic, or copy/form adjustments. It also runs lightweight A/B tests for checkout UI changes and tracks lift specifically on payment completion rate. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for data pipelines and dashboards, AI for automated root-cause clustering and plain-English incident summaries.
