PayGuardRail

PayGuardRail is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams alerts) that monitors global payroll runs for compliance and operational risk before payments are released. It connects to payroll providers via file upload or API and runs a rules-based + AI-assisted checklist: minimum wage/OT thresholds, termination payout timing, tax/SS contribution anomalies, bank file integrity, duplicate payments, and suspicious last-minute changes. It produces a “release readiness” score per country/pay group, highlights the exact records causing risk, and generates an audit trail for approvals. The app is realistic about data quality: it works even when integrations are messy by starting with standardized CSV templates and gradually adding connectors. It’s designed for mid-market multinationals that can’t afford a full GRC suite but still get burned by cross-border payroll mistakes, penalties, and employee trust damage.
