PayloadPal is a mobile + web app that helps pickup and light-truck owners avoid unsafe or illegal loads by calculating real-world payload and towing limits from their exact truck configuration. Users scan the door-jamb sticker (GVWR/GAWR), enter passenger/cargo weights, hitch type, and trailer details, and the app outputs a simple “safe/unsafe” status with axle-by-axle estimates and what to change to get compliant. It also stores common setups (work trailer, camper, boat), provides a pre-trip checklist, and generates a shareable “load sheet” for job sites or insurance documentation. This is not a fantasy “perfect accuracy” tool; it’s a practical decision aid that’s better than guessing and reduces costly mistakes. Monetization: freemium with paid “fleet/work” features, saved profiles, and PDF reports.
