PayoutPilot

PayoutPilot is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps insurers, MGAs, and brokers run parametric insurance programs without building custom claims plumbing each time. It ingests trusted third-party data (weather, seismic, flight delay, river gauge, satellite rainfall) and continuously evaluates policies against pre-agreed trigger logic. When a trigger is met, it generates an evidence packet (data source, timestamps, calculations, and policy terms), routes it for approval, and pushes payout instructions to the insurer’s payment workflow. The product is intentionally unglamorous: it focuses on operational reliability, auditability, and integrations rather than “AI magic.” AI is used only to speed up onboarding—mapping policy wording to trigger parameters and flagging ambiguous terms for human review. This reduces manual claims handling costs and shortens time-to-payout, which is the core promise of parametric products.
