PayProof helps small merchants win payment disputes by automatically generating and storing “proof packs” for each transaction. It connects to Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, and major email/SMS providers to capture order details, delivery status, customer communications, device/IP signals, refund history, and policy acceptance. When a chargeback or PayPal dispute hits, PayProof assembles a platform-specific response packet in the right format, highlights the strongest evidence, and tracks deadlines so merchants don’t miss windows. It’s not magic: it won’t beat friendly fraud every time, and it won’t fix bad fulfillment. But it can materially reduce losses and time spent scrambling for screenshots. The MVP should focus on one processor (Stripe) and one commerce platform (Shopify) to keep integrations manageable, then expand based on demand.
