PayPulse

PayPulse is a mobile + web app that automates “pay-yourself-first” without requiring users to think about it daily. Users connect payroll (or their bank), set a fixed percentage or dollar amount to divert on payday, and choose destinations: emergency fund, bills buffer, debt payoff, or a brokerage cash account. The app focuses on reliability and transparency: it shows what will move, when, and why, and it warns users if a transfer is likely to cause an overdraft based on upcoming bills and historical cash-flow. An AI assistant helps users pick a realistic savings rate, then adapts it over time (e.g., lowering it after a tight month, increasing it after a raise) with explicit user approval. It also includes “friction controls” like a 24-hour delay for reversing savings transfers to reduce impulse spending without feeling punitive.
