PayRecon is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) that continuously reconciles payment activity across processors, banks, and your internal ledger to surface mismatches fast: missing settlements, duplicate captures, unexpected fees, chargeback anomalies, and payout delays. Instead of waiting for month-end close, it runs daily (or near-real-time) checks and produces a clear “what’s wrong, how much, and where” queue for finance/ops. It connects to Stripe/Adyen/PayPal, major bank feeds, and accounting systems, then normalizes transactions into a single audit trail with evidence links. This is not glamorous, but it saves real money by preventing silent leakage and reducing manual spreadsheet work. The product lives or dies on integrations and trust, so the MVP should focus on a narrow set of connectors and rock-solid reconciliation accuracy rather than broad features.
