PayRulebook

PayRulebook is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that lets finance and payment-ops teams define, test, and enforce “payment policies” across rails like ACH, cards, and wires before money moves. Instead of relying on tribal knowledge and scattered SOPs, teams create rules such as: block first-time beneficiaries over $X, require dual approval for certain MCCs, auto-route payouts to the cheapest rail that meets SLA, or quarantine transactions that match fraud or compliance patterns. The app connects to your payment processors and bank APIs, simulates rule impact on historical transactions, then runs real-time pre-flight checks and approval workflows. It also produces audit-ready logs explaining why a payment was allowed, held, or rerouted. This is a traditional app with AI-assisted rule suggestions and anomaly explanations (not “AI magic” that replaces controls).
