PCNWatch

PCNWatch is a web app (with optional email/Slack alerts) that monitors, normalizes, and tracks semiconductor PCNs/PDNs/EOL notices across your approved vendor list. You upload your BOM (CSV) and supplier list; the app matches MPNs, scrapes or ingests manufacturer/distributor notices, and flags anything that impacts form/fit/function, lifecycle, lead time, or compliance. It creates a single audit trail: what changed, when it was detected, who acknowledged it, and what mitigation was chosen (alt part, last-time-buy, redesign). This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps with messy part-number matching, document summarization, and change-impact classification, but the core value is reliable monitoring and workflow. Brutal reality: the hard part is data quality and coverage; the MVP should focus on a narrow set of manufacturers/distributors and do that extremely well.
