PeakDemandIQ

PeakDemandIQ is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small and mid-size commercial buildings reduce costly peak-demand charges using the data they already have. It connects to utility interval data (Green Button where available) and common building systems exports (BMS trend logs, thermostat runtimes, or simple CSVs). The app identifies which loads drive monthly peaks, then generates a short, practical playbook: pre-cool or pre-heat windows, staggered start schedules, setpoint guardrails, and “do-not-run-together” equipment rules. It also provides a simple peak forecast for the next day based on weather and historical patterns, plus alerts when the building is on track to set a new monthly peak. This is not a full energy management platform; it’s a focused tool to reduce one of the most painful line items on many bills with minimal setup.
